Thank you for checking out this page! I am the founder of MD finances.
Throughout my live I have worked in the hospitality industry. In 2017, I graduated from the Hotelschool in The Hague The Netherlands after which my career started in a hotel in London and continued to progress rapidly.
In 2020 this made me question - how do I know hospitality is my passion if I have never tried anything else? So I made the decision to break from the industry, and move into financial services. And what a change that was - quickly, it became clear how little I knew about finance, and after speaking with others, I realised that very little is known about the basic financial system overall, provided the person in question has no experience with it.
This created the idea in my head to educate people about the basics in Finance. While working in the industry I gained a lot of knowledge on the financial system through training and by completing multiple exams:
RO1 - Financial Services, Regulation and Ethics
RO2 - Investment Principles and Risk
RO4 - Pensions and Retirement Planning
RO5 - Financial Protection
All this gained knowledge I now wish to share with others!
